On the Experience of Using Software Components in a Telecommunications Management Network Project

چکیده
In this paper we present and discuss our experience in using software components in the development of a distributed telecommunications management system called SIS (System for the Integration of Supervision). In particular we discuss how we evaluated and selected software tools that became key components in the SIS platform. The use of software components showed to be a very important factor in the success of this project.
